ABOUT RACHEL
For years I was so busy being everything to everyone else that I forgot to ask myself one simple question:
What does Rachel want?
Not what my husband wanted.
Not what my children wanted.
Not what everyone else needed from me.
"What did I want?"
As the kids grew up and life began to change, I found myself sitting there wondering: Who am I?
After all the roles, responsibilities and identities that had shaped my life, who was Rachel underneath it all?
Like many women, I thought changing the outside would change how I felt on the inside.
In 2021, I made the decision to have weight loss surgery.
It was one of the best decisions I ever made, but not for the reason most people think.
The surgery didn't magically make me happy.
It didn't suddenly make me confident.
And it didn't answer the questions I was searching for.
"I was still me".
The real journey began when I started looking beyond the weight.
I realised I had spent years hiding behind layers of protection, trying to control everything around me,
making sure everyone else was okay, and losing myself in the process.
When life got messy, I had a choice.
Keep looking outside of myself for the answers.
Or finally come home to myself.
That's where everything changed.
Because the missing Key wasn't losing weight.
The missing Key was finding Rachel.
Learning who I was.
Understanding what I wanted.
And reconnecting with the person I had lost along the way.
Today, I see so many women asking the same questions.
Who am I now?
What happens next?
Why does this keep happening to me?
I know something needs to change.
I want to feel like me again.
Whether it's weight regain, empty nest, relationship changes, life transitions or simply feeling lost,
the question underneath is often the same:
Who am I?
That's why I created Inner Self Wellness.
A place where women can pause, reconnect with themselves,
understand their story and find their way back home.
Because you don't need to become somebody else to be worthy.
Sometimes life gets messy.
You simply need to find your way back home to yourself.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
Maybe you're trying to hold it all together.
Maybe your mind is so full.
Maybe you're wondering what's next.
Or maybe you simply want to feel like you again.
